Jill’s career in photography has spanned more than 25 years and has taken her all over the world – to black tie and barefoot weddings, to the sets of critically acclaimed movies and the trailers of award winning actors and directors, and into the homes and lives of amazing families across the country. Born and raised in Litchfield County, Connecticut, Jill has spent the last two decades living and photographing in New York City, San Francisco, Block Island, RI Park City, Utah +most recently Nantucket, Ma.

She started her career in Manhattan as a photographer’s agent for fashion photographer Douglas Carver and children’s photographer Paul Christensen. During that time, she fell in love not only with photography, but also with her favorite summer vacation spot, Block Island, RI, where she opened The Photo Dog Art Gallery. For the next ten years Jill exhibited and sold her own and other’s fine art and established her reputation as the premier wedding photographer on the island. Since then she has lived and worked all over the country, shooting weddings, portraits and movies all along the way. Notably, she has done the still photography for a number of prominent movies, including the Sundance Award winning film and Miramax hit “The Station Agent” and “Bonneville” featuring Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Joan Allen.

Jill has her Bachelor’s degree in Video Design from Fordham University in NYC, has completed a business program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and has worked with and learned from renowned American photographers and artists at the International Center of Photography. Jill now lives in Park City, Utah with her 7 favorite photography subjects - her amazing husband Brandon, lovely daughters Elle & Grace, her dogs-Otis + Sting, and 2 horses, Pete and Gemma. During the summer she now spends some of her time photographing families on Nantucket.
